Be Brand Savvy ~ Panache

By Ali Cudby

The Three Things You Need to Know This Spring/Summer about Panache

Between the trade shows and the time product arrives in stores, it’s easy to forget the details of a particular brand’s new lines. Understanding the details of new product can help make the sale. When Fashion Life Mag or employee speaks knowledgably about the unique features of a new lingerie line she is providing superior customer service, educating her clients and proving that she cares about the product she offers in her shop.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at some key highlights from the Panache family of lingerie brands.

SCULPTRESSE:

A new lingerie launch this month is Sculptresse, which offers everything from everyday basics to fashion styles for the full-figured woman. Sculptresse features five different ranges in an assortment of colorways, prints and patterns – all with coordinating briefs and boyshorts. Bra sizes range from 36 – 46 backs with D-J cups and briefs and boyshorts run from L – 6XL.

Some features of these bras, in particular, are worth mentioning as selling points to customers. The bands have outer fabric that is bagged, which means that there is extra fabric that stretches to accommodate the body when the garment is worn, but inner mesh. The bagging provides a smoother look for the full-figured woman, while the inner power mesh gives women the firm fit they want and need to support the bust.

Several styles also offer an uptick at the bottom of the center gore, to give a tummy room. It also helps women avoid the band being flipped up by the skin, as can happen when women have more padding under the band. Styles also offer more center-set strap placements, to help larger, narrow shouldered women from losing straps off the shoulder over the course of the day.

CLEO BY PANACHE SWIMWEAR:

Panache’s “little sister,” Cleo, is also launching its first swimwear collection for this summer. Cleo Swimwear’s bra-sized swim separates feature fresh, fun and flirty prints, colors and silhouettes for the D+ cup sizes.

The Tilly swim dress is a unique concept. The top is almost like an extra long tankini that extends all the way to the upper thigh at its longest, but can be shortened by way of ruching on the sides. Perfect for taking from pool to café – it’s like a swim suit and cover-up in one piece.

Cleo Swimwear sizes run from 28-38 D-J.

PANACHE: IDINA

This spring, Panache is introducing a new core bra called “Idina.” Offered in a balconette and plunge style (with a t-shirt bra coming next season), Idina is based on the Tango frame. For those customers who adore Tango but are seeking something new, this is a great option. The Idina also features a smoother stretch lace cup in comparison to Tango, delivering even more fashion flexibility for customers.
